How does the g.a.x.-system work?
The innovative e-commerce g.a.x.-system integrates local retailers into the brand’s online business. For the first time, all necessary processes are fully automated (IT, Logistics, Payment, Packaging, Law Services, Tax Service, Webshop Service etc.) and are available for all participants through one online gateway: www.gaxcode.com.
“gax” is an acronym standing for “global article exchange”.
With the g.a.x.-system, the customer can order all products on the websites of participating brand manufacturers. The order is sent to an authorized retailer via a unique article exchange. The retailer then confirms the order and sends it directly to the customer. A distinctive feature is that ordering via the g.a.x.-system gives preference to the geographically closest retailer. If that particular retailer doesn’t have the ordered items in stock, the retailer search radius is extended. If no retailer can be found who is able to supply the product, the order automatically reverts to the brand manufacturer.
This procedure ensures that products ordered online are delivered as fast as possible and in an environmentally friendly manner. At the same time, it helps guarantee maximum availability of branded products.
The g.a.x.-system makes a crucial contribution to fighting plagiarism (anti-fake protection), as the brand manufacturer nominates the retailer. It also helps preserve local infrastructures (support your local dealer) and the environment (green logistics).

Why did we develop the g.a.x.-system?
The idea derives from personal experience: until now it was virtually impossible to buy branded products easily via the Internet, i.e. by visiting the manufacturer’s website. In some cases it wasn’t possible at all.
On most brand manufacturers’ websites you can only look at the products and get detailed information on them. At best, the website will point you to the nearest retailer. But there’s no guarantee that the retailer will have the product you want in stock in the right colour, size, quantity etc.
Only very few brand manufacturers sell their products online. This is due to the fact that brand manufacturers cannot compete with their own local retailers without dislodging them in the long term (cannibalization). With the g.a.x.-system, the webshops of the participating brand manufacturers are now automatically coordinated with the authorized dealers and consumers online, thus for the first time resolving the conflict between brand manufacturers and their retailers. With the g.a.x.-system, consumers are finally able to buy the products they want online. Moreover, it’s simple, safe, fast, fair and easy on the environment.

Find branded products, don't search them
The gaxcode Product Finder is an alphanumeric code (e.g. GX1234) that is assigned to each product of a participating brand manufacturer. It can be submitted via any communication medium (e.g. TV, radio, print, web etc.). When the code is entered in the gaxcode box at www.gaxcode.com it leads you via deep link to the product looked for on the brand manufacturer’s website. With the shopping cart you can now order the product online and it will be sent to the desired address via the shortest possible route.

Quickly, because you register just once to record a shipping address, and an user account will be set up for you. With this account you can order any of the products of the participating brands online. Or you can order without opening an account. In this case the temporary account information will be deleted shortly after your purchase.
